Biography: Demetri Terzopoulos (Fellow, IEEE) received the PhD degree in artificial intelligence from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Cambridge, Massachusetts, in 1984. He is currently a distinguished professor and chancellor’s professor of computer science at the University of California, Los Angeles, Los Angeles, California, where he directs the UCLA Computer Graphics & Vision Laboratory, and is co-founder and chief scientist of VoxelCloud, Inc. He is or was a Guggenheim fellow, a fellow of the ACM, IETI, Royal Society of Canada, and Royal Society of London, and a member of the European Academy of Sciences, the New York Academy of Sciences, and Sigma Xi. Among his many awards are an Academy Award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his pioneering work on physics-based computer animation, and the Computer Pioneer Award, Helmholtz Prize, and inaugural Computer Vision Distinguished Researcher Award from the IEEE for his pioneering and sustained research on deformable models and their applications. Deformable models, a term he coined, is listed in the IEEE Taxonomy.

Biography: Yuan Yuan, professor and doctoral supervisor at Northwestern Polytechnical University. He is a national outstanding youth, and serves as the leader/chief scientist of key national basic research projects worth tens of millions of dollars and a national expert in a certain field. Up to now, he has undertaken 8 national-level projects as the project leader, and his research results have won 5 awards from provincial and ministerial-level and national-level societies. The awards include Shaanxi Provincial Natural Science Second Prize (R1), China Automation The first prize of the Natural Science Award of the Society (R2), the second prize of the Military Science and Technology Progress Award (R2), the Wu Wenjun Artificial Intelligence Outstanding Youth Award (R1), the Chinese Command and Control Society Young Scientist Award (R1), etc. Yuan Yuan has published three monographs in Chinese and English as the first author, and has published more than 40 papers in internationally renowned SCI journals as the first/corresponding author. He currently serves on the editorial board of IEEE Transactions on Cybernetics, Neurocomputing and other international journals.

Biography:Yuncheng Jiang is a Professor at the School of Computer Science, the School of Artificial Intelligence, and the School of Software, South China Normal University, Guangdong, China. He is a Pearl River Scholar at South China Normal University, Guangdong, China. He received his Ph.D. from the Institute of Computing Technology, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2004. His research has been published in journals and conferences including TKDE, IPM, Neural Networks, Information Sciences, Fuzzy Sets and Systems, TLT, TCSS, TBD, KBS, EAAI, IJIS, AAAI, IJCAI, CIKM, ECML PKDD, and KSEM. He was a recipient of the Best Paper Award at KSEM 2022. He is a member of KSEM (International Conference on Knowledge Science, Engineering and Management) steering committee, vice chair of IEEE Task Force on Educational Data Mining, and distinguished membership of China Computer Federation (CCF). He also was the General Co-Chair of CCF NCTCS 2023 and the PC Co-Chair of KSEM 2023 and CAAI CDIC 2023. His current research interests include graph computing, knowledge graphs, graph neural networks, and data science.
